Android version 4.4.3 seen running on Nexus 5 and 7

Android AI

For some time now, there has been speculation about the possibility that Google is close to launching a new version of its operating system for mobile devices. This would be the Android 4.4.3 and, new information that has just appeared, would corroborate what we indicated.

This new installment of the well-known operating system would include interesting news, but there is something that does seem very clear that will be part of the game: the correction of a well-known failure in the camera that has been detected in the Nexus 5 will be part of the game. that not expected to be a disruptive remake, but an evolutionary one in which problems will be solved and processes optimized (yes, some "pearl" is expected to be included).

Well, the interesting thing that has been known on Google's own servers is that the code that corresponds to the new Android version 4.4.3 has been seen running on the Nexus 5 and 7 terminals of the Mountain View company. Specifically, the corresponding “builds” would be the KTU83 in the case of the telephone and KTU79, in relation to the tablet. We leave you an image in which you can see what we indicate:

ANdroid 4.4.3 code

The truth is that the two nomenclatures conform perfectly to those that Google usually uses (and they are only three days old), so they could perfectly correspond to Android version 4.4.3. In addition, it fits with the one that supposedly would have been seen to date, the KTU72B, since it would correspond to an evolution of this. By the way, the important letter in the code is "U", which is the one that would indicate that it is the new Android version 4.4.3.

In short, the new version of Google's mobile device operating system is showing signs of life again. So much so that it would not be surprising that before the end of April it begins with the deployment of this. And, as we have indicated before, great novelties are not expected, but improvement of what is already known in the current KitKat. As always, in [sitename] we will be attentive to everything that happens to announce the launch as soon as it occurs.
