The BlackBerry Prague will be the first with Android and will arrive in August

BlackBerry

We will not have to wait a year to see the first smartphones of the Canadian company with Android as the operating system. Specifically, the BlackBerry Prague will be the first of them, and it will land very soon, in the month of August. Of course, this first mobile will be of a basic range and an economic price.

The first with Android

BlackBerry does not have many more options to succeed if it wants to avoid being bought by one of the giant companies in the current smartphone market, as has been said a lot lately. In fact, this may be your last chance, and it's not a bad chance at all. If companies like Xiaomi, OnePlus, Elephone and others that have been around for more years like Huawei or ZTE can manufacture and sell quality mobiles, why wouldn't a well-known one like BlackBerry get it? Android is your strategy. Google's operating system does convince users, and Canadians do not have to convince anyone about the quality of their mobiles, as they have always been good. This BlackBerry Prague will be the first BlackBerry smartphone with Android.

BlackBerry

An economic mobile

For now, the company has not wanted to start with a smartphone of the highest level, as that would have automatically generated comparisons between these and the high-end ones with a lot of experience such as the Galaxy S6 or the iPhone 6. However, the economic range gives many more options. Apparently, this first smartphone would not have a physical keyboard, but a full touch screen, so it would be very similar to any conventional mobile, although with BlackBerry services installed. We assume that it would arrive with Android 5.0. However, it is key that the company knows how to choose the components well so as not to be far from what is currently the basic range, and a good price so that they do not seem too expensive. Hopefully this time BlackBerry knows how to hit the key to success, although the key in the end will be in the high-end mobile, the BlackBerry Venice, which will come a little later. For now, in August we will see the first BlackBerry with Android.
