A new phablet hits the market, and it does so with options that are really striking, both in terms of design and the hardware it integrates. We refer to Elephone P9000 Edge, a device with Android Marshmallow operating system that surely will not pass indifferent to anyone.

We say this because its frontal aspect is differential with the vast majority of devices on the market, since barely has frames between the casing and the screen that integrates -which has a slightly curved finish on its sides-. This allows it to offer a design that is as attractive as it is risky (due to the resistance of this component against possible shocks and twists). But, what is clear, is that the Elephone P9000 Edge is the best device that this manufacturer has launched to date and, by the way, the back cover is made of plastic.

When it comes to hardware, the essential components that manage the operation of today's Android devices, such as the processor and RAM, are much more than adequate. The SoC is a MediaTek Helio P10, a model that has already proven its solvency when it comes to managing all types of hardware and, especially, stands out for its good energy management. As far as memory is concerned, company has not been around the bush and the choice is of nothing less than 4 GB, so it has nothing to envy compared to what the best on the market offer, Galaxy S6 included.

Other details of the Elephone P9000 Edge

The truth is that this model is a most striking terminal and that must be taken into account when deciding on a new Android phablet, since the screen of the Elephone P9000 Edge is of 5,5 inches. The rest of the characteristics that are important to know are those that we leave below:

  • 64 GB storage (it is unknown if it can be expanded, due to the particularity of the sides of the device)

  • Integrates fingerprint reader on the right side of the device

  • Sony 21-megapixel main camera (IMX230) and 8-megapixel front

  • 3.000 mAh battery with fast charge (completes in seventy minutes)

  • NFC, WiFi and USB Type-C connectivity

El Elephone P9000 Edge will go on sale shortly in Asia, to then reach other regions among which it is expected that the European one is. In addition, its price for the moment has not been revealed, so we have to wait but everything indicates that it won't be especially high, as usual in that manufacturer. What do you think of this model that comes with options that are typical of the high range and a spectacular design?
