The HTC Desire 400 Dual SIM is already official, but it arrives first in Russia

The phone HTC Desire 400 Dual SIM is a reality. Of course, the first two countries in which you can buy are Russia and Ukraine, where this type of device is in high demand. The fact is that this entry-level model becomes an economical option to be able to use two SIM cards in parallel.

The essential components that this new device has are a Qualcomm processor Snapdragon 400 quad-core that works at 1,2 GHz and, when it comes to RAM, the amount reaches the “giga” (the storage capacity is 8 GB, including a microSD slot to increase this). In this way, its performance is expected to be adequate, but it will increase when you have Android version 4.4 as the operating system, since it is much less demanding on the hardware.

Regarding the screen that includes the HTC Desire 400 Dual SIM, it has dimensions of 4,3 inches with a resolution of 800 x 480, which is certainly not a great brand and makes it lose comparisons with other devices in the same product range, such as those from the Spanish company bq. By the way, its rear camera is 8 megapixels and includes an LED flash.

Surprising divergences

The truth is that, when reviewing the company's website at Ukraine, one of the two countries in which the HTC Desire 400 Dual SIM will be deployed at first, we discovered that there are differences with the model announced in Russia ... which is quite a surprise. For example, the processor is indicated to be dual-core and, in addition, the rear camera only reaches 5 megapixels. Therefore, it will be necessary to verify if it is two different versions or, simply, of a misprint.

The fact is that this model is already a reality and, we will see, if it is finally launched to the rest of the European countries, since the demand for models that can use two SIM cards is increasing in these. Of course, for now the price with which the HTC Desire 400 Dual SIM can finally be sold is unknown, which will be one of the keys to know the impact it will have on the market.
