For some time now, there has been talk of the arrival of the HTC One X9, a model that will give continuity to the way of working with the already known One A9 (of which already we have spoken to you in Android Ayuda). The fact is that some details of this new model were unknown, such as the processor that will be the game, and this is something that has been revealed.

First of all, there is other information that is important: the HTC One X9 does not seem to be presented in this 2015 as some predicted and, therefore, it will be in 2016 when the device is put into play. We say this because it has just been known that the model in question has passed through the certification body WiFi Alliance (download the documentation) and, although this indicates that the design and development is finished, it shows that there is still a little left before it can be put up for sale.

By the way, the nomenclature that the HTC One X9 will have has also been revealed in this place: E56ML, so it is confirmed that at the moment it was known that it would have and the information that not long ago appeared in Tena where it was indicated that this device would be a phablet with a 5,5 inch Full HD and that the amount of RAM would be 2 GB. Therefore, it is clearly a mid-range.

The processor of the HTC One X9

This was the great unknown of the HTC One X9, and it seems that it is no longer so. Some speculated with the option of resorting to Qualcomm, something common in the Taiwanese company. But ultimately the choice is a component of MediaTek and therefore there is some surprise. The model in question is the MT6595, which will be accompanied by the MT6630 a connectivity chip that offers compatibility with the 2.4 and 5 GHz frequencies when using WiFi connectivity.

The fact is that with the information that has been known, it is quite clear what the HTC One X9, a model that will maintain the metallic finish and offering adequate components but without seeking to position itself in the high-end product range. In 2016 it will be when it becomes official with its interesting MediaTek processor. What do you think of this model?
