The HTC Sensation XE begin to upload to Android 4.0

Little by little the most advanced Android terminals begin to be updated to the latest version of the operating system. Ice Cream Sandwich is already coming to the HTC Sensation XE in some European markets.

The manufacturer HTC is updating to Android 4.0 the Sensation XE of Germany and some Nordic countries. So the rest of European countries, including Spain, will soon follow in the wake. The rest of the world will follow. The package also includes an updated Sense user interface, but not to version 4.0 presented at the MWC in Barcelona but to the previous 3.6.

You can check if the update is available in Spain by going to Software updates, in the Settings menu. It doesn't hurt to remember that this update requires the download of a nearly 300 megabyte file. It will be convenient is near a WiFi connection.

With this movement, HTC becomes the first manufacturer to bring some of its best terminals to the Android 4.0 experience, ahead of Samsung and its impending update to the Galaxy S2. We do not count the Nexus family here.

In the review made by those of Techradar A few days ago, they saw how the performance of the terminal was clearly improving, with an accelerated load of the applications. By holding down the start button, one is transferred to the experience of multitasking, one of the strengths of Ice Cream Sandwich. The new menu shows all open applications as a list of thumbnails. You can switch from one to the other with great ease. And that's just the beginning.

It gives some anger that the rest of the terminals bought in recent months are still without Android 4.0 when they could carry it if it were not for the excess of zeal of the manufacturers.
