Perhaps it is a marketing strategy but the truth is that it has surprised us quite a bit. After waiting for new news about the company's new flagship, Huawei has decided to present what will be the reduced version of the device: the Huawei Ascend P7 Mini. With an ultra-thin design, this smartphone will compete directly with all the "mini" currently on the market.
As we have pointed out on other occasions, the Huawei Ascend P7 will arrive on May 7, and that's why we didn't expect Huawei to announce a different model until after that date. However, the company has decided to continue with the fashion of the reduced versions and for this reason it has just presented us the Huawei Ascend P7 Mini. As you will see in the image, the design is not too far from the one that is supposed to accompany its older brother, although in this case it has "physical" buttons on the terminal and not on the screen.
The Huawei Ascend P7 Mini has measurements of 131,2 x 65,3 x 7,8 millimeters and reaches the 115 grams weight, so it will be quite how to carry both in your pocket and in your hand. Much of the device is occupied by a 4,5 inch with qHD resolution, thus reaching 960 x 540 pixels. Inside we find a Snapdragon 400 quad core processor (this time yes, Huawei opts for a processor that has not been made by themselves) with a 1,2 GHz clock speed accompanied by an Adreno 330 GPU, offering good performance to play games and enjoy most applications.
La RAM of the Huawei Ascend P7 Mini stays in 1 GB, more than enough for the purposes of this terminal, and will bring with it a 8 GB internal memory expandable up to 32 GB thanks to microSD cards. On the other hand, we find a 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and autofocus and a 5 megapixel front. Regarding connectivity, the scaled-down version of Huawei's flagship it will also be 4G and will incorporate technologies such as NFC o USB OTG and other simpler ones like A-GPS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
