The Huawei Honor tablet with an 8-inch screen is now official

One of the segments in which Huawei does not currently have a great presence Huawei is in that of tablets. Well, this begins to be corrected with the arrival of a device that is in the mid-range of the product due to its specifications and that has already been presented: the Huawei Honor.

This is a model that arrives with an IPS LCD screen of eight inches, dimensions that are increasingly present and that little by little have become almost a standard. Regarding the quality of the panel, it has a resolution of 1.280 x 800, so it is already becoming quite clear that the Huawei Honor does not seek to be the most powerful model on the market.

And, this that we have commented, is reaffirmed when knowing the processor that integrates, a model of Quad-core made by Qualcomm running at 1,2 GHz (very possibly a Snapdragon 200). As for RAM, also important for the overall performance of a tablet, this is 1 GB, which does not stand out much but in principle should be more than enough to "move" all applications with adequate ease.

An interesting detail of this Huawei Honor is that it includes compatibility with 3G networks (42 Mbps) so it is possible to be connected anywhere using a data rate. And, as the price of this device is around 184 dollars (145 euros to change), we are talking about one of the cheapest models that exists of this type.

Other features of the Huawei Honor

Other characteristics that are important to know the complete options offered by a tablet are that the storage reaches the 16 GB (expandable by using microSD cards); main camera with a 5 megapixel sensor (front 3 Mpx); and battery with a charge of 4.800 mAh, which due to the undemanding of the processor and the screen allows its autonomy to be high. By the way, that the thickness of the device is only 7,9 millimeters.

From today it is possible to reserve the Huawei Honor, but in Malaysia for the moment (a global rollout is expected gradually). Of course, its actual arrival on the market is on October 16 in the aforementioned country. A detail to comment on: the operating system with which the device is launched is Android 4.3 with Emotion UI 1.6 interface, so an update in this section would not hurt in the near future. What is clear is that Honor range of this Chinese manufacturer has more and more members in the market.
