We could talk about the LG G5, the high-end smartphone that LG will launch next year. However, we are not going to talk about this, but about a mobile that will be the opposite in terms of its technical characteristics, the LG K7. It will be a mobile with characteristics of a very basic level, but thanks to this it could be the cheapest mobile on the market.
Basic range
LG wants to launch an entry-level smartphone with a very affordable price to the market, and of course it can be said that this LG K7 is precisely a smartphone with that profile. Specifically, the smartphone has a 5-inch screen with a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. The fact that it has a 5-inch screen despite being a very basic mobile confirms that mobile phones with 4,5-inch screens are no longer even part of the present.

The LG K7 also has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 quad-core processor, which until now had not been integrated into any entry-level smartphone. To this we must still add a 5 megapixel main camera and a front camera with the same resolution. However, it highlights that despite being such a basic mobile, it has an internal memory of 8 GB and a RAM of 1,5 GB. This is relevant because the Motorola Moto G 2015, which could be considered the king of the mid-range, has a 1 GB RAM memory in its most basic version. This is something that we criticize, and it is logical, since one of the cheapest mobiles to be launched, this LG K7, has a 1,5 GB RAM memory.
The smartphone will be launched in the United States, so it is possible that it will also be launched in Europe, where the smartphone market is very similar. The goal would be for it to become a very inexpensive smartphone, the best option for those who do not yet have a smartphone. Its price has not been confirmed, but with these characteristics, talking about a price higher than 100 euros does not seem very logical. If it is also offered with a discount by the operators, we would be talking about a very cheap price for this smartphone.
