The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and S2 are already compatible with AOKP

Little by little, the MOD AOKP is increasing its compatibility regarding the version of this development based on Android 4.2. If before the Nexus and Galaxy S3 terminals were the game, now they are the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and S2. So they definitely expand the number of users who can install Android Open Kang Project job.

Other devices also achieve compatibility, such as the Acer Iconia Tab A510 tablet or the Texas Instruments i9100G, but these are smaller models that do not significantly increase the potential market share of AOKP. By the way, the page to visit to get the corresponding ROM is the one you will find in this link (where are also Google's own applications).

Some interesting news are also included

The first thing that stands out is the return of the Tablet mode, which was gone with the latest Android 4.2 revision. This mode, which is based on the one launched with Hoynecomb when it comes to the Notification Bar, is preferred by a good number of users and, for this reason, it has been included again as an option. Of course, in the 7-inch models it can offer some display problems.

Another of the inclusions is the "auto-hide" option of the Notification bar. This makes it possible that, if necessary, it can be hidden automatically to make the most of the device's screen. To activate the hidden bar, just use the specific place intended for it.

Other minor additions are that again there is the option of quick unlock, the possibility of using an interface style based on Gingerbread and, also, the return of Google CarHome as an option for navigation. By the way, we must not forget the recommendation to “wipe” (erase) all the data of the terminal in which AOKP will be installed, including the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and the S2.
