The HTC Volantis tablet, perhaps the next Nexus, shows signs of life again

Nexus-9-HTC-Volantis

Little by little more information is being known that indicates that the tablet HTC Flyings is real. This model would mean the return of the Taiwanese company to this market segment (which it abandoned after launching a single model, the Flyer). From what it seems, everything indicates that they will make a new attempt.

The fact is that this model is even thought that it could finally be the future Nexus 8, and more so now that it has been confirmed that this product range will not disappear as was thought not long ago. Therefore, the importance of the HTC Volantis may be much greater than you might initially expect.

The data that is news, and that comes from the Twitter account @ Evleaks, so a certain veracity must be given (although not total, of course) is an image in which you see a reference called Flounder -which is not the first time that we have heard of it-, and that it is supposed to belong to a future Nexus tablet ... and that is where the HTC Volantis fits. Here we leave you the message:

What is expected of this model

It seems that the future device would arrive with a screen between eight and nine inches (8,9 is the most feasible) with a resolution of 2.048 x 1.440 (with an aspect ratio of 4: 3). The processor would be a Nvidia Tegra K1 with 2GB of RAM and a storage of 16 and 32 GB, so at first there would be two versions. Additionally, the housing could well be made of aluminum and would integrate an 8 megapixel rear camera. Without a doubt, it will not be bad if the design accompanies, of course.

The fact is that it seems that HTC's return to the tablet market is a reality and, perhaps, it will be in charge of manufacturing the next Nexus model instead of ASUS. Be that as it may, the rumors and leaks in this regard have only just begun regarding the HTC Volantis. Would the one that would unite Google and HTC seem like a good marriage?
