In the default launcher of the new Samsung phones, Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S8 +, notifications are displayed on the app icon if you have messages to read. It is useful but annoying. If you want to end these notifications, we explain these tricks for Galaxy S8.
The notifications, in the new Samsung phones, with the launcher that arrives by default, appear as a number included in the application icon itself, on the desk. Something really useful to know which notifications you still have to read and without the need for them to appear on the top bar of the phone, but it can also be uncomfortable for apps where notifications are continuous: dozens of messages on WhatsApp or Twitter or alerts on Facebook, for instance. But cleaning them is easy.
For the notifications to disappear, all you have to do is press the application icon for a few seconds correspondent. Either from the main screen of the phone or from the application window. Once you press the icon for a few seconds, a pop-up window will appear with several options such as accessing the application info, removing the icon, selecting other apps or cleaning the icon. Clicking on "clean icon", all numbers indicating unread messages or unview notifications will be deleted.
Hide apps
Another thing you can do from the launcher of the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 + is to hide the applications or games for a certain time. Just open the app drawer by sliding the main screen up or down. The three-dot options menu will appear on the right. By tapping on the points you can access the settings.
In the main screen settings you will find the section "hide apps" and a list with all the apps installed on your phone will appear. All you have to do is select all the games and apps you want to hide and click on the upper "apply" button. And that's it. You can stop hiding these applications by doing the same process and deselecting them from the list.
