Poor quality because it is very inexpensive. Manufacturers have already stopped including power adapters with their smartphones to cut costs. They include a cable, yes. But if they don't include a power adapter, which we can buy for less than 10 euros, you can imagine the quality of that cable.
If the cable begins to fail, it is because it is making a bad connection with the microUSB or USB Type-C port of the mobile. And that can mean a number of things. However, if the connection you are making is bad because the cable has been damaged, something quite likely, continuing to use it could have a fatal consequence, and that is that the connector of our mobile phone is damaged. If that happens, it will no longer be worth buying another cable. There will only be one solution, change the connector of our mobile. What we say here is impossible. The mobile connector is soldered to the motherboard, one of the most complex and expensive components of the mobile. We cannot remove the connector and solder another. That is almost impossible. Changing a motherboard is not only expensive, it is also complex, and therefore we will have to pay for that work, when it may not even be done conveniently. If you damage the connector of your mobile, you will have damaged your mobile almost permanently. So if the USB cable starts to fail, buy a new cable. They cost very little money, and it will be better than damaging the connector of your mobile.
