Launchers are one of those elements of any Android mobile device that give us the option to modify its appearance in a very simple and fast way, installing a different one, since it is only an application. The last one that we have come across and that is really characteristic is called Flip Launcher, is in Beta, available now on Google Play, and is free, although with quite striking possibilities.
To start with, it reacts with the movement of the device. It is true that at the moment it only does it with the only widget that is included, which is a silver-looking clock, but it is easy for them to apply this to future elements that are added to the launcher. Something that also draws a lot of attention is the fact that it modifies all the icons that we put in the Android home panels. It is true that there are already launchers that have special custom icons for certain applications, or that we can find icon packs in many places. However, what usually happens is that these do not cover each and every one of the applications, but only the best known ones. Flip LauncherInstead, it adapts all the icons. It does so because it actually makes a modification on the original icon. It offers us three possibilities, three different ways of displaying the icons. One of them is to show the original that came with the app, another to show the modification it makes Flip Launcher, and a last one where the icons are shown with the modification and a shaded background is added.
The launcher also allows you to modify the transitions between panels, although as standard it comes with a style inspired by the glass that is quite careful. The best of Flip Launcher is that despite being Beta, still growing, and incorporating transitions that may seem heavy, it is really fast, which is always appreciated.
