Have you made unauthorized in-app purchases? Check if Google returns your money

Opening the Google Play Store

Without a doubt, this is one of the best news for all those whose minor children have made purchases in-app in an unauthorized way, that is, within an application downloaded in the Google Play Store. The company has just published a list - and is sending emails to all those affected - with applications whose expenses can be reimbursed.

Some time ago we saw how Google began offering certain refunds to some Users affected by unauthorized in-app purchases made by their children. Finally, about 19 million dollars had to be reimbursed to the respective "owners" who requested this reimbursement but, either due to ignorance or "interest", Google did not publish a complete list with all the applications and games that can be considered reimbursable. . Today the company has been willing to carry out the process correctly and has sent several emails with a link to an updated list with all those applications we refer to. Specifically, the text reads like this:

“We are contacting you again to let you know that the issue has been resolved, and the refund request form now correctly displays all in-app purchases on your account that may be eligible for a refund. We encourage you to use the link below to review the potentially eligible purchases on your account again and submit a request for any that turned out to be unauthorized purchases by a minor.

To submit a refund request:

Use this link to log into your Google account and review your in-app purchase history. Select unauthorized in-app purchases made by a minor and click "refund". Provide the information requested for the selected in-app purchases and click 'Submit'. "

Google Play already shows the applications optimized for tablets

This is certainly great news for all those affected by the problem. Of course, if we have already made a refund request, it is not necessary to do it again, but it is only about those apps that we have not reported yet. The link to see our purchase history in the Google Play Store is here, where you can check if we can request a refund.
