Although many users may not like them, vertical videos are unavoidable. YouTube knows that the war against vertical videos is lost and has decided to join them. Now, the video platform is adapting its mobile application to vertical videos, adapting its interface.

For a long time we can see the vertical videos in full screen from the YouTube app without any problem, it was enough to press this button, full screen. But now YouTube has announced that it goes further and that it will be fully adapted to vertical videos also modifying the entire interface and not just the playback window that we see.

The vertical videos will modify the entire interface of the application and you will be able to see it well without resorting to the full screen. The obnoxious black sidebars of vertical videos will disappear even if we don't have the video in full screen, adjusting to our mobile.
