ZTE has announced its new ZTE Blade A3. The company's low-end line is updated after the launch last year of the ZTE Blade A2, a mobile that stood out for the features it offered for 100 euros. The new terminal repeats play and improves several of its characteristics.
Front dual camera: selfies to power
What stands out the most about the new ZTE Blade A3 are its new dual front cameras for selfies. Specifically, we are talking about a 5 MP camera and a 2 MP camera, capable of taking portrait mode photographs. These front cameras are opposed by a single 13 MP rear camera.
Regarding the screen, we have 5 inches with HD resolution (1280 × 720) and without any extra protection. The battery is 4.000 mAh, quite large, and has 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal memory. Supports micro SD cards up to 128GB. Regarding other connections, we have a micro USB port and a minijack port for headphones.
Although the terminal seeks to maintain its fixed price at € 100, it has a fingerprint sensor and a way to unlock the phone using your face. Under the Android layer of the manufacturer, MiFavor 4.2, we have an Android 7.0 Nougat.
What it does not have is NFC connectivity, so it is not a suitable terminal for mobile payments with Android Pay or similar. Other aspects in which it is noticeable that we are talking about a low-end device are its plastic body or a MediaTek MT6737T quad-core processor that, nevertheless, will do the job. The official release date is November 6 and it can now be booked at the official store.
Selfies and a lot of battery as main attractions
Although the ZTE Blade A3 cannot be compared by any means to higher-end rivals, knows how to bet on two of the characteristics most demanded by smartphone users. It is no longer just about taking good photos, but about accompanying them in a portrait mode to make them look better. And a 4.000 mAh battery catches the eye, highlighting the enormous durability it should offer. With all this, the terminal becomes much more interesting and a great low-end competitor.
