Europe would be Xiaomi's last destination

Although it is possible to buy Xiaomi phones from Spain, the truth is that they are not officially sold in Europe, or in the United States. We have talked a lot about the international launch of Xiaomi smartphones, and new information seems to confirm that Europe would be the last destination of the company, even after the United States.

International launch

The truth is that it can already be said that Xiaomi is a company of international relevance. And in fact they are going to officially launch their smartphones in Brazil and Indonesia. Generally, when we speak of "international" we mean Europe and the United States, but the truth is that it is not necessary to launch in these regions for it to be an international launch. And it is that the arrival of Xiaomi to Europe officially does not seem to be produced soon. What's more, Hugo Barra, a manager at Xiaomi and before at Google, has already been talking about a possible launch of Xiaomi in the United States, but the launch in Europe is still not mentioned. So far, we know that Xiaomi will invest in Indonesia to create a division that is completely autonomous. Over time the logical thing is that this same thing happened in the United States and Europe. However, there has not been talk of a possible launch in this region yet, so it seems clear that it will be Xiaomi's last destination. They would only land in Europe after officially launching in the United States.

Until 2017

Bearing in mind that it would not be until the end of next year when Xiaomi would arrive in the United States, and that in the best of cases, it is very likely that the arrival in Europe could not happen until 2017. Yes it is true that once Xiaomi officially launched in the United States, its launch in Europe will be a matter of a few months. However, it is still relevant that there is no talk of a launch in Europe yet, not even as a future option.
