Huawei mobiles will also have their own user interface on Android

It is not the brand with the greatest presence in Spain, but Huawei wants to gain an international presence with its first quad core that was about to hit the market. But it seems that they have delayed it and they have a good reason: they prepare Emotion UI, their own user interface with which they want to customize their new terminals.

It was the only one of the big mobile manufacturers that sold their devices with the Android operating system as it came from Google, without adding anything below and, above all, nothing above. In that it was different from HTC, which has its own personalization HTC Sense, Samsung with TouchWiz or LG with Optimus, among others. For some it had already become a special attraction, being able to have Android as it is, without any additions.

But, and the experts agree on that, Android phones are increasingly converging and looking more like each other and only differentiation can make users decide on the experience of using one brand over another. It seems that you need that customization to make the great leap to the first division of the Android mobile manufacturers.

For this reason, Huawei will announce on June XNUMX its own user interface to which they have called Emotion UI. Is probably available in July Although not many details are known about the plans that Huawei has on whether they will install it on devices that are already on the market or only on new ones.

What does seem related is the delay of the Ascend D Quad, the first quad core mobile of the company and with which it wanted to abandon the image of manufacturer of mid-range and low-end terminals. Presented at the last Mobile World Congress, it could hit the market in July, now with the new Emotion UI. We will have to wait until next week if it is one more user interface or provides something different.

Well, I appreciate that it comes without any layer, which they then do like Samsung, when a new version of Android comes out they accuse that they are not going to update your phone because of TouchWiz.

then that adds up to delays, more delays, which must be customized. And precisely because each one customizes, they are all the same, they should leave it as it comes, and update quickly.

I had high hopes for the quad xl, let's see when it finally comes out, it is rumored that it will be in October, and we will have to see what "customization" is like.
