My Android does not charge the battery well, what do I do?

Mobile Charger

When you have a new smartphone, you are very careful not to scratch or break it. After a while, it completely stops caring what happens to the smartphone, until it stops working properly, and that is when the worries begin. Something common is that it stops charging correctly, which usually makes the mobile, after a while, totally useless. What to do if the Android does not load well?

1.- Plug everything in

The first thing we want to know is if the mobile has charging problems for one reason or another. Thus, we plug everything in the right way, and we look at how the mobile reacts. If it doesn't load, something is wrong. It could be the cable, the power adapter, the plug, the mobile phone connector, the battery connection, or the battery itself. Sometimes it is easy to detect it by trying to disconnect and reconnect.

2.- Most common mistakes

The most common is that two elements are failing, either it is the smartphone connector that is broken, or it is the battery adapter itself, which may be very old, or may have been damaged for any other reason. Nor can we rule out that it is cable. In addition, if it is the latter, fixing it is very cheap, so it is an option to consider.

3.- Replace the cable

A quick test is to replace the cable with a different USB cable. If the cable is failing, charging may be impossible, despite the fact that it is an element that is only responsible for transporting the power from the adapter to the phone. It is easy to find another cable if we have any other mobile or tablet at home. If we don't have one, we can ask someone else for it, or try a job charger. We can even consider buying one in any store, as it will only cost us a few euros. The worst that can happen is that we over a cable at home.

4.- Replace the adapter

It is much more expensive to repair the smartphone, so we have to go step by step for the cheapest. If the cable does not appear to be the cause of the problem, the adapter must be replaced. Any Android smartphone adapter can work, even if it is not of the same intensity. We can connect the USB cable to any other Android phone adapter, or even an iPhone. If again it is impossible to get another adapter, we can connect it to the computer. The mobile should react to the connection, and that will indicate that it is a problem with the adapter.

5.- Move the connector

If you still can't find the problem, then you may find yourself in one of the worst situations. Most likely, it is not the battery problem, and more if you are getting it to charge at certain times. Most likely, the problem is with the connector of your smartphone. To check this, move the cable slightly and make sure if the mobile is charging in some moments or if it is still not charging. If it charges alternatively, the problem is in the connector of your smartphone.

Mobile Charger

What to do?

The last thing to do in such cases is to force the cable to charge the battery. The only thing that we will achieve this way is that little by little we are damaging the connector more, and that the moment comes when there is no way to make it charge the smartphone, and at that moment we will have a nice paperweight. It's funny, but a very expensive mobile phone can be totally useless if the charging connector breaks down, since it is not easy to repair it, having to solder a new one to the board. But we have a few options.

1.- Buy a new cable

Sometimes a new cable improves the situation. Of course, the purchase of a new cable should not lead us to make it load as it is, although for that we have to force the cable in one direction. What is certain is that in many cases it is the cable itself that contributes to the incorrect load, and although everything is not solved with a new cable, we can improve the load with this one.

2.- Buy a battery charger

If finally your mobile does not work, you can still resort to an external battery charger. These will force you to remove the battery from the terminal in order to charge it, but something is something. You will have to have the mobile off while the battery charges, but if, for example, you charge the battery at night, at least you will be able to keep your mobile.

3.- Buy a wireless charger

If your mobile is one of those that has a wireless charger on the market, it could also be an option. You may need a compatible case and the above charger. It is also possible that that smartphone is already prepared to charge wirelessly and you only need the charger. Be that as it may, you can investigate if your mobile is compatible. If so, it will be one of the best options you have, and after all, you can always boast that your mobile charges wirelessly.

Come on, what would any person with a head do, another without sense, and if none of these things does not work (removing the wireless charger) that is another world apart, if it does not work for you by cable, you think it will be solved without cables

Hello, I have a Samsumg SIII Mini. It happened to me that I connected the charger and despite that, it did not raise the percentage of load, but it stayed the same or dropped one or two%. I checked the applications and the google + was active even though I hadn't used it since the day before. I forced the closure and from there I have had no problems. Hopefully it helps.
