Application after application were coming to the market as an alternative to the most famous messaging app, all with one feature per flag, they were more complete than WhatsApp because they included voice calls. Well, although a little late, WhatsApp has confirmed that it will have this new feature, and that they will begin to integrate it sometime in the second quarter, which begins with the month of April. Starting in March, WhatsApp could be updated at any time allowing us to make calls.
This has been officially confirmed by Jan Koum, the one who until now has been the CEO of WhatsApp and who has become the list of Facebook executives, at the conference that took place at the Mobile World Congress 2014 in Barcelona. With regard to which platforms will be supported, what we know is that iOS and Android will be the first two to have this new feature, and shortly thereafter the versions for Windows Phone and BlackBerry will be updated.

No more details have been given about them, nor if they could later reach other countries, nor if it is part of the plan that Facebook had to launch its own mobile.
