Update on the way for Nokia 5 and Nokia 6

Right after the announcement regarding the Nokia 8, a user asked via Twitter about the arrival of Oreo to the Nokia 6. Nokia's product manager responded by saying that both the Nokia 6 such as Nokia 5 would be the following. They will follow the same path as their older brother, first entering a beta program through OpenLabs to later officially receive the new operating system.

The registration method would be the same as the previous time, signing up via the web and using a valid Nokia account with compatible mobile. It will be a matter of waiting for more specific details on the availability of the beta.

From HMD Global it has also been said that it is very likely that the Nokia 2 y Nokia 3 end up receiving Android 8.0, but at the moment there are no detailed plans in this regard and probably there will be nothing official until 2018. However, it is good news for Nokia users, who will not suffer the typical Android fragmentation for the immediate future.

However, not everything depends on system updates, and several users are demanding that the camera app of the Nokia 8. Juho himself has confirmed that this app will be updated independently and that it is not linked to the Oreo update:
