Learn how to set a reminder with your Android mobile

Mobile phones allow us to do many daily tasks with a small device that can be stored in our pockets, which makes things much easier, the information that used to occupy several shelves of a shelf we can carry it quietly on our mobile and access it anywhere, to listen to music before you had to carry music players and part the music you wanted, now we can only carry a mobile and listen to music with better quality.

Something that mobiles have also made it easier for us is that we no longer have to remember dates or times because in a few seconds we can set a reminder for whatever time and day it is.

There are two ways to do this, with Google Assistant or with Google Calendar

Set reminder with Google Assistant

Let's start with Google Assistant, Google's virtual assistant is incredibly useful and incredibly useful, not for nothing is it the best virtual assistant on the market. There are so many things that Google Assistant may make you probably not know most of them. And one of the most useful is to schedule reminders, this makes it possible for us to schedule a reminder without even touching our mobile.

The first thing, you have to activate Google AssistantThis will depend on the device you have, the most common is that you hold down the start button so that Google's artificial intelligence is automatically activated. If you don't have a home button because you are using gestures you will have to say: "Ok Google" and that way it should be activated.

The next step is the simplest, you simply have to tell the assistant to configure a reminder, and that is that Google's voice recognition engine is so good that it practically does not matter how you say it as long as it is understood that you want it to configure a reminder.

Then the assistant will ask you for the name of the reminder and you will have to respond by giving a very brief description of the reminder. For example: "I have to go to the doctor" and the assistant will tell you to tell him when you want him to remind you, in this case on Friday at 8 in the morning.

And we would already have the reminder configured, to cancel it we simply have to tell the assistant to cancel it.

Set reminder with Google Calendar

If for whatever reason you can't use Google Assistant Or you just don't like it, you can also set a reminder from the Google calendar application, which is one of the most complete, after all it is difficult to make better applications than Google.

Well, to do it from Google Calendar You will first have to open the application that will be in your application drawer or on the home screen, you can also tell Google Assistant to open the calendar. Once the application is open we have to click on the button in the lower right corner, it is a plus symbol with Google colors.

Once configured as we want and when we want, we simply give it to save and the reminder would be saved with the desired title and date.
