As many know, English is the third most widely spoken language in the world and the official language for institutional relations. That means that the importance of knowing how to handle the language becomes essential at this point, and the app Grammarly keyboard it performs the function of teaching us to write in English.
In this way, we can practice the language daily and without leaving home, being necessary only to chat on the mobile through messages or emails.
Grammarly Keyboard is not a translator
If someone thinks that the app is designed to translate everything we write in Spanish into English, you are wrong. Its objective is to correctly correct all those errors that arise in writing, in the event that we are not proficient in the language, or we have to send an urgent message and we cannot stop for the formalities.
The keyboard must be implemented in the device completely, that is, it replaces the one we have by default. However, if we want to use the app sporadically, from the space bar we can toggle the keyboard quickly and easily with a long press.
In the upper left corner of the keyboard, we have the app logo, which is nothing more than a section to show us the latest grammar mistakes that we have made, although it needs that let's have an internet connection so I can work on it.
On the other hand, it has a predictive text system that, depending on what we are writing, shows words that go according to the script of the sentence. The same way, offers a wide range of synonyms so that there is variety in the writing and that it works quite well, although somewhat slow in the sample.
Lastly, we can add our personal vocabulary on the keyboard, with characteristic words or words that we use more frequently and have faster access to them, without having to type them.
It's not Gboard, but it looks like it
The funny thing about this keyboard is that in design it is quite similar to the Google keyboard. We are not saying that it is a copy, on the contrary, it is appreciated that it has that same theme Material Design offered by Mountain View.
However, the customization is not at the level of the keyboard of the great G, since we can only choose between a light and dark theme, and we can talk until there. On the other hand, it has its own section of emojis, but it lags behind with the absence of GIFs and stickers. Although his maxim is another, we must ask him for that type of improvement at this point.
