The great problem of glass mobiles

It is common to use the term "glass" to refer to something fragile and easily broken. Well, thanks to that we can easily understand what the big problem with glass mobiles is. A priori mobiles with a more premium design and of a higher level, but which finally pose a basic problem for us, and that is that they are not as resistant as plastic mobiles.

Glass mobiles

How strong can a glass be? More and more resistant crystals are being launched for smartphone screens. However, the truth is that no matter how resistant these crystals are, mobile phones are still quite fragile. It is not difficult to see users with broken screens. And when the entire mobile is made of glass, it is more normal that it can be completely broken. Not only the screen, but also the back cover. It must be said that it is not so relevant that the back cover breaks, because after all it does not have a special function in the smartphone. But of course, if what we have done is to spend 800 euros on a mobile with a very high level design, and it turns out that its case breaks into a thousand pieces, we will not be happy, and that is one of the problems of mobile phones of Cristal.

Worse than metal mobiles

Nor is it a problem that metal mobiles get rid of. These smartphones, when they receive a blow usually receive a mark that there is no way to remove. They are advocated or damaged in such a way that they will be permanently marked. But even so, in general the case remains intact and in one piece, something that does not have to happen with glass mobiles.

Plastic mobiles are the best

The funny thing is that plastic mobiles are the best. Not only are plastic housings stronger, they are often replaceable. In addition, due to the material of these covers, they can better absorb the energy received in a blow, and therefore, they better protect the mobile, prevent breakage of the case, and also damage to other components of the smartphone. It seems to us a non-premium material, but perhaps it is the best material for the back cover of a mobile. At least, it is the most useful. Perhaps not the most beautiful, but that leads us to buy glass or metal mobile phones, and then put plastic covers on them.

I have had mobiles of all kinds, in my opinion the worst are the aluminum ones (iphone 6) because it happened to me that in a fall the aluminum dented and the volume button and the mute tab came out (according to technical service, the solution was to buy another iphone) I had a glass phone (galaxy s6) it lasted even longer because even if the glass breaks it does not fall apart or the buttons are released, but what I did was go back to my galaxy note 4 which has an aluminum chassis and polycarbonate casing (for the uneducated, polycarbonate is not plastic, it is a mixture of polymer and carbon, I think it was, a material 30 times more resistant than plastic), the only phone that reminded me of those nokia They fell and nothing happened to them, the note 4 has fallen to me more than 6 times (without covers or shits) and intact factory glass and intact casing, some scratches but nothing broken. Which makes me think that it is the best option for a smartphone with a large screen, aluminum chassis and polycarbonate housing.
