And that's going to change the Android market this year.
Who is not going to launch a 4-inch smartphone?
There are studies that claim that the number of iPhone SE to be sold will be less than that of iPhone 5c. The truth is that I do not understand it very well, because while the iPhone 5c was not a good mobile, and it was expensive, the iPhone SE is a good mobile, even if it has a 4-inch screen. In fact, I think it is what the iPhone 5c should have been, hence I believe that it will sell more. Many things will depend on the sales of the iPhone SE in the Android market. But there is one thing that I have clear, Samsung, LG, Sony, HTC are already working on mobile prototypes with 4-inch screens to be able to launch them as soon as possible. Launching them is something more complex. Samsung probably will have possibilities, since they launch many smartphones, but for the others it will be more complex.
However, we still have to count those manufacturers that have historically been known to imitate the iPhone, such as Xiaomi, Meizu or Ulefone. And, which of these three is not going to launch a smartphone with a 4-inch screen? It is very simple for these manufacturers to design a smaller smartphone and launch it on the market. And with their cheap prices, it would not be difficult for them to sell very well. Of course, it will be necessary to see how long it takes to design the smartphone, devise it, manufacture it, and launch it. It is possible that they even already had in their plans to launch it. It will all depend on how the iPhone SE is sold. But one thing is clear, it will be Apple's main smartphone until the launch of the new iPhone 7, and we will see if those convinced that mobile phones should not be so big do not appear again.
