What features do you want in the Motorola Moto G 2016?

The Motorola Moto G 2016 will be launched in Spain. After at a certain point we believed that said smartphone would never be launched again, it seems that it will be launched, although under the Lenovo brand. Maybe a Lenvo Moto G 2016. However, what will this smartphone be like? Or more importantly, what do you expect from Lenovo's new Motorola Moto G 2016?

Camera

After the Samsung Galaxy S7, the LG G5 and the Huawei P9 have arrived with innovative cameras, the truth is that it seems that the camera has become one of the most relevant elements of smartphones. It is clear that it will also be in the case of the new generation Motorola Moto G 2016. However, it will continue to be a mid-range smartphone, so we cannot expect it to be similar, far from it, to the cameras of the Samsung Galaxy S7 or the Huawei P9. However, the latest Motorola Moto G 2015 had a 13 megapixel camera and great software that managed photography very well, thanks to which it was possible to get very good photos without having a lot of photography knowledge. The camera of that Motorola surprised me, and Lenovo would not have to improve the camera of that smartphone much. Maybe add some feature, like laser focus. But the truth is that it is not necessary to improve the camera much, in my opinion. What do you think?

Performance

A shortcoming in the Motorola Moto G 2015 in my opinion was the performance it had. With an entry-level quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor and 1GB RAM in its most basic and cheapest version, the performance was not the best. At the time of typing with the keyboard, lag was perceived on the smartphone, and the mobile phone did not work especially well. I didn't get to test the 2GB RAM version, it was probably better in terms of performance. But for me the Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor was a major shortcoming.

I would expect a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 or a Qualcomm Snadpragon 650 in this new version of the mobile, which would arrive this year. But information that arrived a few weeks ago told us about a mid-range MediaTek processor. I think that everything that is not a MediaTek Helio P10, will have a performance similar to that of the previous Motorola Moto G 2015, and I really do not love that.

Memoria interna

As for the internal memory. It should be greater than 8 GB. I think that the standard version, the most basic of the smartphone, should be 16 GB. However, ideally it would have the possibility of expanding the memory by means of a microSD card. I do not expect much more in this regard, since the objective will be that the mobile remains cheap.

One day battery

Its battery will not surprise either, mobile batteries have autonomies of one day in many cases. And that is what we can expect in this case too, a battery with an autonomy of one day, but no more.

Integrated

However, I think that the design is one of the characteristics that could change the most in the new Lenovo Moto G 2016. And it is that the previous Motorola Moto G 2015 had a design very typical of Motorola mobiles, and it seems logical that Lenovo want the design of the new smartphone to be more typical of Lenovo mobiles. In any case, for me the most relevant thing would be if they are going to end the water resistance that the Motorola Moto G 2015 included. It is a feature that Lenovo could easily do without if they want the price to be lower.

Price

But we cannot forget the price of the smartphone. It will be another determining characteristic. So far, the Motorola Moto G in all its versions has had a price of between 180 and 230 euros. We will see if the Lenovo Moto G 2016 will have this price or not. Its classic rival is the Huawei P9 Lite. It has been said that this year it will cost 300 euros. Last year the Huawei P8 Lite cost 250 euros. So one possibility is that the smartphone is more expensive. It all depends on the characteristics with which the mobile arrives. Most likely, it is not that expensive, and that its price is economical. Although it will be necessary to see if for that Lenovo dispenses with some characteristics something that would not be so positive.

I have the moto g 2015 with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal memory .. The mobile is doing very well for me! Thanks to the fact that the software is optimized !! But let's go for the moto g 2016 .. the changes I would like would be: (finer the marcia please !!!) a slightly bigger screen! I know that being bigger, more pixels will have to be put in and more love will be. Yes, but I think that many users expect a small change in screen size! One such as .. (5'2 or 5'3) nowadays most mobiles have more than 5 ”of screen! The camera well, if that polurlia a tad more! At 16 mpx or if not improve the camera sensor !!! It will also be allowed since it will supposedly have a better processor !!! Put two speakers !! And certification of resistance to water and chicken but improved !! Since it is an improvement of the previous mto g 2015 we will not take things away from it, right? And put the fingerprint detector! And if you can Led notification !!! With that I think it would be a good renovation !!! Thank you all Xd

For me they should keep the 5plg but with a resolution FHD or tmb at 5.1 but with better frames as well as the galaxy. On the camera that the same megapixels are maintained in both but that substantially improve the application of the camera, the lens, focal point, aperture; etc. The SoC will undoubtedly have to put the SNPD 6xx series and the adreno 405. IP68 protection. That implements the NFC. Two speakers up front like the Moto G2. A 2gb or 3gb RAM if the price warrants it. The battery that reaches 2800 or 3000 maph. Android 6.0.1. That the notification led returns. That there are versions of 16 and 32gb of ROM, because one of 8 I think would be obsolete. And as the fingerprint sensor for security had been rumored with that, it would be the perfect 2016 Moto G.
