ChatON, Samsung's messaging client, gets updated

It is true that, today, WhatsApp has no one to overshadow it in terms of number of users, but there are some applications that offer similar functionality with interesting additions that, little by little, make room . An example is forfone of which we spoke yesterday or, another, is Samsung ChatON.

The latter has just been updated and, in addition, with some interesting additions, the most sympathetic are a series of new emoticons to share with other users, including a specific one with Olympics motifs and that, these days, will be used a lot. The arrival of this animated icon is not surprising, as Samsung is a sponsor of the 2012 London Olympics.

But there is much more to the arrival of the version ChatON 1.9.5. The novelties included are quite numerous and, for example, it is now possible to use as a walkie-talkie the phone with another user of this messaging application. A very fun possibility, especially for the little ones.

In addition, the possibility cknow if the user with whom you are chatting is typing, the ability to edit the name of all the contacts you have, an additional background and the power zoom images received and sent (and, in the section of the images, ChatON is much better than WhatsApp, since it hardly deforms them when reducing them to send them).

Samsung renews its efforts with ChatON, something that is not surprising since since it opened this application to use on any Android terminal, the market share of this utility has gone from being non-existent to reach 3,5% which is not really much, but it does mean a significant advance.
