The iPhone 6 integrates a new A8 chip with 64-bit support in a 20-millimeter architecture, being one of the most advanced processors on the market together with the new M8 co-processor that offers the possibility of measuring changes in altitude and much more, increasing the performance of the device, joining all this SoC to 1 GB of RAM.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 opted for a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 with 2 GB of RAM, so on paper the S5 may seem superior. However, we expect even performance, especially due to the optimization of iOS 8, the relative heaviness of TouchWiz, the South Korean interface, and the 64-bit architecture.

About sensors and monitoringBoth terminals have a fingerprint sensor and can be used to make payments, a novelty that is presented in the iPhone 6 although for now it will not be available in Europe. This, along with the NFC, allows us to secure our data and make these payments in the easiest possible way. Thanks to M8 co-processor, the iPhone 6 will also be capable of measure our activities, although not for example, the heart rate.
In another vein, Apple has once again taken care of the details and returns to "surprise" with some interesting functions such as the possibility of call simultaneously via Wi-Fi and LTE network (supports VoLTE, like the S5) to "port" calls from one network to another, or a barometer to estimate atmospheric pressure.
