Samsung
There is no universal method and normally all devices arrive with this blocked bootloader - the last one to not have it was the Samsung Galaxy S3-. Therefore, one of the most used options is EZUnlock, which you will have to download from here. Simply connect the device to the PC and click on Unlock.
Nexus
In the case of Nexus, unlocking the bootloader is really simple since it can be done with a simple application that we can download from Google Play Store.
LG
We are in the same case of Samsung. However, if you have an Optimus G, Optimus G Pro or an LG G2 in your hands, FreeGee is an application also available in the PlayStore and that will allow you to unlock the bootloader and install a recovery such as ClockwordMod or TWRP. In the case of an Optimus L5, the best option is this program.
HTC
After the criticism received, HTC launched a web tool together with a software called Htc Bootloader Unlock. Obviously this is an official method that is based on downloading an unlock code for your Android. As a note, the reverse process can also be done.
Sony

Huawei
