CyanogenMod 11 M4 arrives, the definitive version closer and closer

The version is now available for download Cyanogen Mod 11 M4, which is an evolution of the Nightly of this development and offers greater stability than this one. Therefore, it seems clear that the final development of this MOD based on Android KitKat is getting closer and closer to seeing the light of day.

This new version is the step prior to the release of candidate firmwares (Release Candidate) to be chosen as the final and final one. And, according to the group of developers themselves, this new released option includes a good amount of news and corrections that were not present in previous releases based on KitKat. Some of the inclusions and fixes are the following: Navigation bar optimized for lefties, accelerometer support in some terminals and that the quick settings menu works better. There are more news, but these are not very visible to users.

Obviously, it is only possible to install CyanogenMod 11 M4 on the terminals that so far are compatible and which are the following: Nexus 4, Nexus 5, Nexus 7 (2012 and 2013), Nexus 10, Nexus S, Galaxy Nexus, Galaxy S4, Galaxy S III (international version), HTC One, LG G2 (international version, T -Mobile and AT&T) and finally the LG G Pad. Not bad for a version that is not final, everything must be said, but it has been confirmed that little by little the number of models that are in the game will increase.

CyanogenMod 11

Those who are already using a CyanogenMod 11 version prior to this new one that has been released, should not have the slightest problem to install "over" this one. If not, the installation process is somewhat more complex since it is necessary to delete a "wipe" from the terminal (and Google applications must be added if desired). Of course, as always, it is more than recommended make a backup of the data to be sure that it is not lost.

Downloading everything you need to install CyanogenMod 11 M4 in any of the compatible terminals can be obtained at this link for free. If you are daring, you can have a good time trying this new firmware, but it should not be forgotten that it is not a final version and that unwanted problems may appear at some point.
