CyanogenMod 9, now ready for the Samsung Galaxy S3

Although there is no stable version of CyanogenMod yet, the popular alternative ROM can already be installed on the Samsung Galaxy S3. It is still a preliminary version and with bugs (what in the jargon they call Nightly) but it already allows us to see how the Galaxy S3 works without Samsung's customization layer and with the different touch of this community of alternative developers.

As is almost always the case with news about new ROMs, the news appears on the XDA Developers developer forum. We had already seen several elements of the Galaxy S3 taken to other devices, such as the Voice S assistant. Also, some had already rooted the new Samsung terminal. But it remained to be seen what the CyanogenMod did.

This community has almost ready version 9 of CyanoGenMod. In fact, last week they announced that they stopped working on its development to focus on solving the problems that still had the initial versions. Now, one of the teams that make up this community, Teamhacksung, has just released the Nightly version of CM9 for the Galaxy S3.

The first thing to do is go to the forum thread where they explain all the steps to follow. Warning: replacing the official ROM with an alternative is not an easy task. All the steps explained in the guide must be followed or we run the risk of being left without a mobile phone or without its guarantee.

As a preliminary version, it still has some polishing to do. The FM radio has some problems, as well as the use of the camera flash. Others are unimportant details, such as the charging LED signal not lighting up when the terminal is charging. If you are one of those who like adventure, stop by XDA Developers to put the best ROM for the best mobile that is now on the market.

What sense does it make to put this that it is not even stable to the galaxy s3 when this mobile is a machine and it works well with android 4
