CyanogenMOD can be seen with Android version 4.1.2

There is already a new version of one of the standalone ROMs in the Android world: CyanogenMOD. This is in its version 10 Nightly type, so it is not yet included in the existing one that is updated automatically, but its stability is the usual one and, of course, it includes a good amount of news.

Perhaps the most interesting because it is novel is that it is based on the version Android 4.2.1, the first update of Jelly Bean and which has been available for Google reference devices (known as Nexus) for only a few days. That is, as it is already something that has been very common, the CyanogenMOD developers have been the fastest to offer their ROM in perfect condition with the latest version of the operating system. They are to be congratulated on this.

Here we leave a screenshot in which you can see the new version used:

At the very least, more stability

According to Google itself, the improvements offered by this update that CyanogenMOD has taken as a reference offers necessary improvements, although they are not of great significance. Most are minor bug fixes, so I know increases operating system stability (especially with regard to wireless WPA connections), but variations have also been introduced that affect the user interface (UI) and the Android core, which allows to improve the performance of the devices somewhat. Of course, no design changes or new options.

The truth is that the members of this development have had to see very clearly the benefits of Android 4.1.2, since there are hardly any references when it comes to measuring both the performance of this new version as well as its real stability. A riskIt is true, but it is also true that in this way in CyanogenMOD they aim to be the first, something that will give them a great presence in the media and specialized forums.

To get the new update, you can use two options. If you already have the CyanogenMOD 10 ROM installed in your terminal, access the menu Settings to the section About of the phone and then to CyanogenMOD updates. Click on this last option and the download will begin.

If you do not have CyanogenMOD installed, you can access its website or the following link in which there is a list of available downloads.
