Discover the new look that the Settings will have in Android N

Everything indicates that, definitely, in Android N News will arrive in terms of the design that the new iteration of Google's operating system will offer, which will be announced at the next developer conference of the Mountain View company (in May). An example is that some images have been filtered in which a quite radical change in the System Settings is clearly seen.

In this way, as I commented above, Google have realized that it is absolutely necessary to redesign this section of their operating system, and that it will come with Android N. The reasons, apart from getting better navigation through it, are to offer better information visually to the user and, also, accommodate the new options that have been added to the development, such as the management of permits or the management of footprints.

The fact is that one of the novelties is clearly the arrival of the Lateral Menu already common in many of Google's jobs. In this way, in Android N (and by using the icon called hamburger), an option list will be displayed that will allow to reach different sections in a much faster and more intuitive way - the usual place with the options for developers will not be missing either. -. Without a doubt, this will improve usability.

Android N with more visual information

With the images that we leave behind this paragraph, it is clear that Google searches with the changes that users can learn much more information at a glance. For example, there is an upper bar where you can quickly find out if you have Do Not Disturb mode activated. In addition, some sections in Android N, such as the battery or memory, report the status of the terminal (without going any further they provide data such as estimated autonomy or occupied RAM, respectively).

The truth is that if the screenshots that have been published are confirmed, and I personally hope so, the change is completely positive as well as necessary. Obviously we have to hope that this is only the tip of the iceberg in terms of novelties (one of the most important, everything indicates that it will be the native arrival of the pressure recognition on the screen). The point is that Android N It does not look bad at all and if there are advances in security and optimization of the management of resources, surely the improvements are worth it. What is your opinion?

I do not see anything new the truth. In the Samsung Galaxy the menus are already like this for a long time.
Google put the batteries, you are very behind and more than news, what you enter in the updates is all copied to other companies that customize android at will after google releases the firmware
