Mario Kart Tour continues to take steps to become on Android what it is in its format for consoles. A title that, despite not having a physical keypad and smaller screen, aims to give a similar experience on mobile phones. What we can do now is switch to landscape mode in Mario Kart Tour.
With this new mode, Mario Kart Tour will offer players the option to choose if you want to compete vertically or horizontally. Not only is it a change in the layout of what happens on the screen, but the vehicle handling interface will also be completely modified.
A long-awaited feature
It was one of the most anticipated functions by the most common Mario Kart Tour players, taking advantage of the large screens of current terminals, many of them 16: 9. An aspect that many missed in the Nintendo game it was the possibility of playing mobile horizontally, since it can only be played vertically. Luckily this is also fixed in the game.
With this new mode, Mario Kart Tour will offer players the option to choose if you want to compete vertically or horizontally. It is not only a change in the arrangement of what happens on the screen, but it is also will completely modify the interface of vehicle handling. A new distribution that allows to give a greater breadth to the controls of the game, emulating the distribution that we had in the Nintendo DS consoles.
How to switch to landscape mode in Mario Kart Tour
To enjoy this option, we must look at the main menu, where we will see a button called "Menu". Next, a second screen opens where they appear game settings, that will have to be configured in the way we want to play with the screen, located in the lower right corner.
Once we enter the menu, we just see in the first sections the options to play in portrait mode, in portrait / landscape mode (which is changed) or in landscape mode. While the first and third options are fixed, the second allows to switch automatically when we rotate the screen, although it is advisable to choose a fixed position. Everyone will be able to select which option they want to use in the game and thus be able to play the Nintendo game more comfortably.
We can also configure another parameter, although it is only activated if we choose the automatic mode or fixed horizontal mode. And it is that we can activate the possibility of use the left hand side to control the vehicle, while the right part will be left to use the object. This replaces the normal tilt system of the terminal, approaching the format used in the console. Bear in mind that acceleration, in this game, is automatic.
