Get on your Android the functionalities of the S Pen of the Galaxy Note 2

Android S Pen

El S Pen It is one of the most innovative elements that Samsung has introduced in recent years, and it is still one of the oldest. Its special functions are what have made it a magnificent accessory for the Samsung Galaxy Note and Note 2. However, now we can take advantage of all these features on any smartphone. Android from version 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

The S Pen is not made of a special material or anything like that. Everything resides in the software that Samsung puts in the Galaxy Note 2. Functions such as taking a screenshot on which to make modifications, draw, and share our work of art are some of the things that users like so much that they look at them with envy. South Korean phablet users. However, now we can emulate all these functions with an application that runs on any Android that has a version equal to or later than 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

Android S Pen

This last requirement is not due to anything other than the fact that the application makes use of the screen capturer that is integrated from this version of Android. Ink Over Apps is the name of the application and it allows us to take annotations on documents, draw pictures in books, mark a route on a map and many other things that will depend on our imagination.

The application has its small flaws and limitations, of course. We cannot zoom when we capture an image to edit it, something that, for example, is allowed in any Samsung Galaxy Note 2. However, it seems clear that a lot of support will be given to Ink Over Apps and that all these details will be improved and filed as time goes by. It is available on Google Play and is priced at 0,76 euros.

We have read it in The Free Android.

Please inform us a bit before writing an article. The S-Pen uses inductive technology to work, technology not present in any other mobile (that I know of), so using an S-Pen on a device other than a Note / Note 2 / Note 10.1 is not possible.

If you want to know more about the technology that the S-Pen uses, take a look at this link: http://pili.la/n77

Mazmardigan, it's not about using the S Pen, but about emulating the special functions of the stylus on any Android device. That is, in creating software similar to that of the Galaxy Note 2 to make it work. All with capacitive technology, of course. You cannot emulate every last detail because, as you say, the S Pen uses inductive technology, but the software part does, and the differences are not too great in that regard.

That's true, but regardless of all Samsung's innovations in its Stylus, with a stylus you can do "almost" the same thing. It is also true that you will not have pressure levels or anything like that, but you could draw, take notes and much more. I think the app is quite useful even though the writer has 'elevated' it a bit too much. Greetings.

inform yourself your best. this news is because with this application you can do almost the same as in galaxy note 2, (write on maps, take notes in books in readers like adilko ... .. which normally cannot be done) but with the difference that It will not be with an s-pen, but with a stylus for capacitive screens.

It is true that there are very good impressive applications, but the original s pen I think is unique since you can do many more things and it is intuitive in addition to an application, for example to draw you would do it with your fingers, the precision is not good
