GoNote Mini, the Netbook that is believed to be a tablet, will arrive at the end of the month

Since its appearance in 2007 with the first Asus Eee Pc, Netbooks have become that technological category of which we have been able to witness a complete life cycle. They started strong and reaped great successes in the market due to their small size and low weight, achieving a great acceptance to the point that it became strange to enter a university class and not see a few Asus Eee PCs or as many Acer Aspire One. We are experiencing its boom, its decline, and its disappearance, and it is that the smartphone world arrived too quickly. However, today, in 2013, one of these devices appears again, with the force of 7 inches and the Android system as the flag: The GoNote Mini.

Another that signed up for the manufacture of Netbooks was the manufacturer GoNote. When the Netbook market was practically disappeared, the firm dared to launch a new device that had the same operating system as smartphones (Android), but in a 10-inch Netbook that they claimed was the perfect combination for the study. And they should not have gone too bad in the attempt, because today GoNote dares with a new product with similar characteristics adapting it to screen dimensions that today we find in full swing after the release of the Nexus 7.

So, GoNote debuts its GoNote Mini, Netbook 7 inch with Android system that will be the choice of many. Observing it with today's eyes, we can say that we see a Netbook or, better still, a device of the "tablet" type with a physical keyboard; and is that the 7 inches are typical of a tablet and not a computer. But after all these observations, let's go to the interesting part, the technical specifications.

GoNote Mini: Technical Specifications

What we know at the moment is that the GoNote Mini will have an ARM Cortex-A8 processor of single core to 1,2 GHz helped by 1 GB of RAM for your performance. The Android version with which the device will be launched will be a Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0), so it is not that the new Android Netbook can boast of being updated, because it will not be at the time of its departure and the firm has not indicated anything about possible future updates.

The screen of 7 inches will have a resolution of 800 × 480, and the internal memory will be 4GB expandable via microSD, tablet-style. In terms of camera, it will also imitate the tablet style presented a front VGA for video calls, and a rear of 2 megapixels to capture photos.

Of course it will have connectivity WiFi for Internet connection, it also has 4 USB ports for full connectivity of external devices. It also has HDMI 1080p output. And as we can see, it also has a touchpad to control the mouse, but it also has a touch screen, so in that sense, we return to the tablet. The battery is 3000 mAH.

The best thing about the GoNote Mini, more than the internal specifications (for our taste it falls a bit short of processor), is the design and the possibilities it offers, establishing a perfect mix between the tablet and the Netbook, with all the connectivities that we would need today. The price of the GoNote Mini is U.S. dollar 150, so we do not know if when arriving in Spain the conversion will be 1: 1 to stay at 150 euros, or if it will undergo the fair conversion of currencies to cost approximately 115 euros. In any case, the commercial launch will be at the end of this month, so we will not wait long to find out.

That crap with A8 shouldn't cost more than 60 euros since there are 100-euro tablets with much better hardware.
