HDR Camera, photos like never before, and with free application

If we talk about photography at the user level and we want to refer to the latest news that have become fashionable, we would find Instagram and company on the one hand, to add effects, and with HDR, a photography technique that is becoming very popular, especially since Apple integrated it into its iPhone. If your mobile does not have the built-in capacity to take these types of photos, HDR camera is the ideal solution, and free.

The HDR technique is conceptually very simple. Everything is limited to taking several identical photographs, in which only the exposure time of the same change between shots. For those who do not know, the exposure is the time that the sensor remains receiving light, the higher it is, the brighter our photos are, but the more complex it is to highlight dark areas such as shadows. HDR mixes all the shots. In this case, three shots are taken, one with the common settings, another reducing the exposure time, and another increasing it, and both three are superimposed, thus achieving highlighting the areas of medium light, the areas of greater luminosity, and the areas of greater darkness. The effect can be extremely surprising, especially in places where there are a large number of elements and different levels of light and dark.

As we have said, the iPhone has it incorporated, and also some of the Android devices, like all those with the latest version 4.2 Jelly Bean. However, this is not the case for most. For them, HDR camera is the ideal solution. It is a free application, simple, but with a good amount of advanced options. In addition, not because it is free, it has important limitations. And it is that, it allows us to take pictures at the maximum resolution of the device, something that sometimes does not happen with the free versions of some camera applications.

HDR camera It is available for free on Google Play, as well as its paid version, for 1,53 euros at the moment, which eliminates advertising (which we have not yet found), and allows you to add options such as geolocation.

The iPhone was the first to bring it incorporated, as was the retina screen

We are not saying who brought it in first, but who it works best on. Hick.
