LG Optimus LTE2, the first Android with 2GB of RAM

Mobile phones are becoming more and more powerful. This year, the trend is the quad-core processor, the quad-core, which, even though they are more powerful, have proven in some cases to give the same performance as the dual-core chips. In any case, next year the market will have to sell something new. LG has decided to get ahead of the others in what could be the next advance in operating power, RAM, and it is that they have presented the world's first Android mobile with a memory 2 GB RAM, LG Optimus LTE2, which is in stark contrast to the 1GB that large devices carry today.

Yes, even the Samsung Galaxy S3 presented last Thursday at the London event has only 1 GB of RAM. Obviously, if all the major manufacturers have opted for this memory, it is because it meets the expectations for what is expected of these devices, and remember that we are talking about the latest in the market. That is why it is strange that LG is ahead of all the others, with the clear intention of attracting attention.

El LG Optimus LTE2, in addition to having compatibility with networks LTE, something not very useful in our country, at the moment, it would be the first in the world with a 2GB RAM. In addition to this feature, it would also carry a display of 4,7 inches with technology TrueHDIPS, and a dual-core processor Qualcomm Snapdragon S4, able to run to 1,5 GHz. Topping it all off, we would find a battery of 2150 mAh, which now seems the standard for new smartphones. The device would not reach Spain or the rest of the world, since it would stay in South Korea.

It would be just a representative terminal, which would come to show what LG has planned to do in the coming months. It is expected that its launch will occur at middle of May, from which point it can be tested, in order to compare its performance with that of other Android devices with smaller RAM memories, and see what the real efficiency is.

Finally, it is worth wondering how long it will take to see the new mobiles with 2 GB RAM. It seems that Samsung is preparing Google's Nexus mobile for this year 2012. After having launched its flagship with so many improvements, how do you plan to launch a better device? Will the 2 GB of RAM and Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie the two main protagonists of the new Samsung Nexus?

While we do not have a real multitasking in our Smartphones I do not think that by having 2 GB of ram we will notice anything.
