Motorola could have its own Nexus devices

Rumor after rumor, the date is approaching when they will know what Google's plans are regarding its next range of devices. Nexus. The most common leaks indicate that there will be several models that will appear (one per manufacturer) and that, of them, the first to appear will be that of LG (Optimus Nexus).

Besides, Samsung, HTC and Sony devices are expected ... but it would take a fifth to complete one for each of the five years that Nexus has. And, if we pay attention to the rumors that are appearing in, for example DroidLife, this would correspond to Motorola… Something that is expected from the same day that Google bought this company.

It would be two devices

From what has been learned, two models, called "manta" and "occam", with the Android 4.2 version (Key Lime Pie), are already being tested. The software versions are JOO92B and JOP04C, which are unpublished so far. And, when these types of ROMs appear, they always run on Nexus devices. Therefore, Motorola seems to have its chance (something that will come in handy, since in recent times it has been known that Motorola Spain will disappear, the Webtop and Lapdock developments disappear ...).

But how do you know which models belong to Motorola? From what looks like these two codenames would be a Google choice to reference, using a pun, to the RAZR and Xoom models that already have a North American company (Occam / RAZR and Manta / Xoom). In addition, it seems that someone from the search engine's company is the one who would have discovered the way, not the confirmation.

In reality, this seems more like a bet than anything else, since the records of the versions of the ROMs discussed could well belong to any of the models that are to come and more or less confirmed. Of course, many times reality begins with rumors ... and, perhaps, this is one of them. Would you like to see a Motorola Nexus?
