MIUI will have a switch to disable all ads

MIUI ads

MIUI is one of the most popular customization layers today. But it receives a lot of criticism due to its advertisements on the operating system itself. It seems that Xiaomi has listened to the complaints of the users and they intend to fix things, yes, with a switch.

At first they said they would cut down on ads. The news was greeted with a bittersweet taste. Even if they cut down on the ads, they didn't completely disappear. But there were options to disable ads for all Xiaomi apps. The problem is that you had to go section by section having to deactivate the ads, and it took you a while and rummaged through the options to be able to do so.

Now it seems that Xiaomi has redeemed itself and although it will not remove the ads completely you will have a global switch to disable them. So you can do it with a single touch. Of course, obviously it will not come deactivated, you will have to do it yourself. That is, if a basic user does not know that they can do this, they will continue to see the ads on their mobile. It will be implemented with the next stable update, which we believe will already be MIUI 11.

It was also said that many "inappropriate" advertisements that appeared in the operating system would disappear, further hampering the experience. These are beginning to appear less and less, so the experience using MIUI will get better, especially in this new eleventh version of Xiaomi's customization layer.

But the interesting thing is clear that this is global switch to disable ads. Until now, if you wanted to deactivate the ads, you had to deactivate it from the music, the browser, the browser, downloads, the cleaning app and a long etcetera.

Xiaomi has little profit margin from the sale of its mobiles, which is why it implemented the ads. But now you will have the option to deactivate it, since their main earnings are still in the sale of mobile phones, although they have countless other products.

We will have to wait for September 24, which is when MIUI 11 is rumored to be unveiled, and possibly released.

So we will wait for this new update to arrive to see if with it, we also receive the global switch for announcements. And of course, we hope that the largest number of Xiaomi users reach you.

What is your opinion? Do you think Xiaomi is doing well? Or do you think they should completely remove ads from their phones? Although that would increase the price of your terminals? Leave us your opinions in the comments!
