Android 10 GO now available for the cheapest mobiles with few resources

A couple of years ago, in 2017, it was presented Android Go. A light version of Android for more modest phones, with less storage or processor. And now comes the Android Go version of Android 10. We'll tell you what's new in Android 10 Go.

We will start at the beginning. What is Android Go? As we have said, Android Go is a lighter version of Android. For phones with just 1GB of RAM and little storage. The applications weigh less, and in some cases from the Google app you can control everything so that you do not have to install more applications than the account.

Android 10 Go. The light version of Android 10

We finally have Android GO based on Android 10, something that future buyers of a phone with few resources, will appreciate. And what news does it bring us? Well, these are the news that we see in this new version.

This new version, obviously, includes many new features that we see in Android 10 such as the much appreciated dark mode that has been included in this release.

We will also have the new Android gestures, which are more natural and fluid gestures, and also do not take up as much space at the bottom of the screen.

But there are two things that are very interesting in this Android 10 Go. The first is that according to Google it's up to 10% faster than Android 9 Pie Go. Which in any type of operating system is appreciated, but especially in this operating system that will move within phones with few resources, it is appreciated even more. And that will ensure that the operating system runs much smoother. It is also said that the apps they will also weigh less, thus leaving an even lighter system.

And the second interesting news is Adiantum. Adiantum is the encryption that Android uses since Android 9 Pie (which it introduced in February of this year), but it did not arrive in its Go version. And what differences are there between this encryption system and the old one?

Until now Android Go used AES (Advanced Encryption Standard), an encryption system that works very well with the ARM v8 processor architecture, the architecture used by most processors in Android phones.

So what is the problem? Well, there are some processors that still use Cortex-A7, an old architecture, which does not have the same encryption acceleration technologies as the new technology, and makes transferring and recording files a slow and tedious process.

With the implementation of Adiantum exponentially improves the speed at which you can write files on your phone. That makes added to the new speed of Android 10 Go, with that improvement of 10%, the experience when using this light version is much faster and smoother.

What do you think of these news? Now Android Go seems like a better option, don't you think?
