The Mountain View company has taken the basis set by the Unicode Consortium, and has adapted its keyboard of emojis to emoji 12. Thus, users who update to the new version will see that there are completely new graphics, but also others that were previously available and that, with the launch of Android 10, have changed to a greater or lesser extent in design. Above all, this evolution seeks to be more inclusive, like the releases of previous years.
All the new emoji that have been introduced in Android 10
The previous image shows us the 236 new Android 10 emoji. There are circular and square shapes in different colors, new flags, a drop of blood, a plaster, a razor blade or a pair of guide dogs. But an ice bucket, an emergency vest, couples of different genders and skin tones, and people in wheelchairs of various kinds have also been added. In addition, in this update of the Android 10 emoji keyboard there are also visually impaired people, a new yawning face and new expressions with the hands, among many other changes.
The first to receive this new emoji keyboard will be the Google Pixel, which are the first to update to Android 10. Later the devices will do it within the program Android One and those of Android Go. The rest, as they are updated to Android 10, and according to the customization layer of each mobile manufacturer.
With the security patches, the Mountain View company has made the decision to distribute them through the Google Play Store so that they reach more users and faster. With the emoji, perhaps they should do the same so that all users can enjoy them, regardless of their version of the operating system.
