According to the official website of Pokémon GO, the month will be divided into several parts to distribute the events in an orderly manner. From today until September 7, players will complete all Mega Raids possible before the end of the term. Then, from the 11th to the 17th, the development of the event will focus on the Gyms, Team GO Rocket and the battles with other trainers, not including the GO Fighting League rank. If 275 million of all those battles are won, we can unlock both a Mega Houndoom and a Mega Beedrill.

Pokémon that you can find in the Mega September event
Aside from some of the creatures we've already mentioned, we have more Pokémon that we can catch in wild spawns. In the final week of events, larger Pokémon such as Doduo, Alolan Exeggutor, Pinsir, Lapras, Snorlax, Furret, Wobbuffet, Mantine, or Skarmory will appear more frequently.
