Nexus 4: is it true that you have serious problems with your hardware?

The success of Nexus 4 in the market is total, and a good example of this is that the stock on Google Play barely lasted a few days and, each time they are restocked, they are sold out again. But as is often the case, gradually becoming a reference makes everyone the focus and, therefore, sometimes unrealistic data is leaked.

And this is what has happened with Google's new reference model. They are commenting on the Net that Nexus 4 has some hardware issues which in some cases are not real. Therefore, thanks to our experience with this terminal, we will try to answer and clarify if it is true that the errors exist.

The first section is that of overheating. It is said that this phone when used with applications that need large SoC resources and the RAM memory reaches excessive temperatures ... There is some truth in it, since it is true that it heats up, but not more than other devices like Samsung Galaxy S3 or HTC One X (what's more, the temperature in the latter used by Tegra 3 was much lower). We believe that the glass cover is the reason for the heat to be properly distributed. Therefore, in this section there is nothing to fear.

As a result of the possible heat failure, it is indicated in some media that the operating system kernel reduces the frequency (speed) with which the terminal works. This is something that happens in almost all existing devices (even in PCs, this can be configured by the BIOS) and it's nothing bad if it happens… Quite the opposite. Better to work something slower than the terminal can crash. Truth?

Sound on calls, is there background noise?

This is another topic that is discussed: when talking on the phone, there is background noise. This is not true, at least when we have tested the Nexus 4, no background noise was detected. The sound was clear in noisy environments and therefore the dual microphone system does its job.

Drop test, fragile nothing at all

Another myth about the new phone made by LG is its supposed fragility due to its glass back cover. To show that this is not the case, we leave you a video in which Nexus 4 toughness demonstrated before habitual falls. It suffers damage, of course, but it is the most normal thing in the world (note that the protagonist is 1,90 meters tall):

Finally, a final denial: it has been said on the Internet that when one of these phones is moved abruptly, something loose inside it rings. This is not like this, the terminal appears compact And, no matter how you move, there is no noise whatsoever. Therefore, the manufacture of the terminal is of the appropriate quality.

By the way, what is a failure, and fat, is that Nexus 4 do not include a headset when you buy it. That is not understood. Will there be some for sale on Google Play in no time? Place bets ...

I'm sick of having to identify myself as if I were a suspect of something every time we comment on something online.

A few weeks ago I restored my Nexus 4 and since then it has been making a constant sound (like a siren with a repeating error noise) every time I run an application. It's annoying and leads me to have to put it down.
I have restored it up to three times in the hope that this sound disappears but the situation does not change.
Has the same thing happened to you?
    Thank you!
