OnePlus could announce new software on December 17

OnePlus One Cover

El OnePlus One It is one of the smartphones with the best quality / price ratio on the market. It is one of the few flagships that can be purchased for 300 euros. In fact, it is the only one, since the Nexus 6 has been launched at a very high price, which even led us to be disappointed with it. Well, it seems that OnePlus will stop having CyanogenMod as a version for the operating system, and on December 17 it could announce new software.

El OnePlus One was one of the first smartphones to officially feature CyanogenMod when Cyanogen Inc was already an independent company. It was a really remarkable feature, given that it is one of the highest level Custom ROMs released to date. However, it seems that very soon OnePlus could stop having Cyanogen as responsible for the ROM that these smartphones have installed. It's all because Cyanogen Inc has reached an agreement to develop the ROM exclusively for the Micromax company in India, which has led OnePlus to have to turn, since it will not be able to install CyanogenMod on the OnePlus 2.

OnePlus One

The company called an event for December 17, in which we did not know what they were going to present. It won't be the new OnePlus 2, as this is expected in the middle of next year 2015. However, it is very likely that it is the presentation of the new ROM that your smartphones will have. If we take into account that Micromax, the company that has the new exclusivity agreement with Cyanogen Inc, will present a day later what could be the first smartphone with this new ROM, it seems logical to think that, indeed, on December 17, OnePlus will present what will be your new software. The great novelty would come with that this could also be installed in the OnePlus One that have been marketed and that have CyanogenMod. In any case, that is something we will know in two days.

Either I'm wrong or I think that in the end the opo in India will carry cyanogen like the rest, and that there is no longer exclusivity for micromax.
At least that's what I read in a recent statement from Cyanogen.
