Samsung Galaxy Grand, arrives in Korea for € 246

But today the Korean firm has announced the arrival of the Galaxy Grand in its country of origin with new improvements over previous models and a price as affordable as € 246.

It has been more than a month since the Korean firm made the official Samsung Galaxy Grand without giving too much detail about the phone. The only thing we knew at the time was that this device would bring a screen dimensions of five inches. Nothing was known about the price, the launch date, or the markets that this new device would target.

During the last weeks Samsung has been unveiling the mystery generated around this device with its previous launches in countries such as Ukraine and India; perhaps in an attempt to turn this smartphone into an even more attractive product, if possible. And to this day, one of the surprises of the launch in Korea, in addition to the price, is that the Galaxy Grand will bring four cores at 1,4 Ghz instead of the two 1,2 Ghz cores with which it went to the Indian and Ukrainian markets. On the other hand, the new Korean model (model SHV-E270S) It has a negative variant, and that is that it will not come out with dual-SIM support.

The surprise factor has been, above all, the price. According to the Korean juggly.cn, Samsung Galaxy Grand will go on sale in Korea free and without contracts, for a price of € 246. A really groundbreaking cost for a device of these characteristics, much lower than the expected figure, corresponding to almost a third of the cost of the Galaxy Note 2 in the same country.

We will be waiting to know if this great little terminal will be released on the European market, eager to know if we will be just as lucky as Korean citizens. Of course Samsung is eager to eat the market even more, if possible, in this 2013.
