Samsung Galaxy S4, install Android 4.3 with ROM Google Play Edition

There are already some lucky people around the world who are testing Android 4.3 on their Samsung Galaxy S4. Some of them are those of SamMobile, who have uploaded this ROM so that today we can install it on our device, as long as we have the South Korean flagship. Of course, we must insist on the fact that this version of Android is not yet finished by Google, so what we will have in our hands will be a 4.3 Jelly Bean still lacking some extra features that the final version of Google will include.

This Google Edition ROM based on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean for the Samsung Galaxy S4 can already be installed in any S4 GT-I9505, this is the model with Snapdragon 600 chipset, where according to SamMobile, There are still no cases in which a serious system failure or anything like that has been reported, so for the moment a stable ROM is assumed for that specific model, it is more according to these guys, they give an outstanding "outstanding" results. To the system.

They warn us that the installation process cannot be done through Odin, but that we will need to have the terminal rooted and a Custom Recovery installed, so the installation will be through RECOVERY. We must emphasize that this type of process voids the terminal's warranty, so it is our job to remind you that We are not responsible for any problem that may arise with your Samsung Galaxy S4.

These are the firmware data that we will install:

  • Android version: 4.3
  • Build ID: JWR66N
  • PDA: I9505GUEUBMFP
  • CSC:I9505GXARBMFP
  • Date: June 26 2013

Requirements

  • Samsung Galaxy S4 (GT-I9505)
  • Custom Recovery

Instructions

1. We download the ROM and we copy it to our microSD card. Choose one of the two ROMS below:

Android-4.3-I9505GUEUBMFP-Odexed-I9505.zip
MD5: 363ED9CC32A841A512E72372A19C7D05

Android-4.3-I9505GUEUBMFP-Deodexed-I9505.zip
MD5: 74D241B64266220161018EB98A19F279

2. Enter mode RECOVERY (POWER BUTTON + VOLUME UP BUTTON + HOME)

3. Make a Wipe or what is the same, resets the terminal to factory settings.

4. In RECOVERY, we must choose the option of INSTALL ZIP FROM SDCARD to finally install the ROM that we have downloaded.  Once we select this option we must go to the path of our SD where we have hosted the file and select the chosen .ZIP.

5. After the installation process we reboot our Samsung Galaxy S4 to start messing with Android 4.3 in the purest Nexus style.

Congratulations and enjoy it! And of course, do not hesitate to share with us your experience with the new system!
