Samsung continues to win at Apple's house

It has been some time since Samsung it dominates the market for the global sale of telephones, surpassing Nokia at the time. And, this is also the case in the US, which is an interesting fact since it surpasses Apple in its own home and, therefore, it is something that we do not think is very good for those of Cupertino who surely try and they will try to change this.

And it seems that the trend continues and Samsung consolidates its leadership position in North America (26,3%). At least, so it indicates comScore that in the summary that goes from the month of July to October 2012 confirms the dominance of Asians. Therefore, neither the "patent war" nor any other event affects the market to change its structure and percentage of control. Of course, it is true that the highest growth is taken by Apple, which has increased its share by 1,5% (for what happens to have a total of 17,8%), by 0,7% of Samsung, but it is insufficient to get the first position -although it is the second, displacing LG-. These are the data of the first five:

Some interesting details from the report

The truth is that there are no big changes, that is to say that the most important headline is that there is a continuity in the tastes of users in the US. Perhaps, even the decision between the first two (Samsung and Apple, in this order) is extended with respect to the following companies. Perhaps the Christmas campaign may offer something new in the near future, but this remains to be seen.

Apart from the growths mentioned above, there are some curious details, such as that Motorola partially cushions its fall of market share, since this time it only lost 0,2% to 11% of the total, which is not a bad basis for the beginning of the era, as Google has indicated.

LG for its part is the one suffers a major setback in the US market, since it loses 0,8% and, therefore, moves to third position with 17,6%. It is true that it stays very close to Apple and we will see if the Nexus 4 effect allows it to go back (iPhone 5 is also there). For its part, HTC continues its slow but steady decline, and now only has 6% of the market, thus losing 0,4%, the second steepest decline.

Ultimately, things remain more or less the same, with Samsung and its Android dominating the market and Apple next. LG loses some steam, but surely the Nexus 4 allows it to regain some ground.

What a stupid article. They don't know how to defend their poor operating system and the mediocre copycat Samsung.

Wake up to reality! Apple is no longer even a shadow of what it was with Jobs. they no longer have anything to offer. How silly it is to keep thinking that something is the best just because about a thousand years ago they were innovative or because it has a silk-screened apple. pfffff
