The 4 great innovations we expect from Google in 2015

2015 begins now, and as such, it also begins a new career to be the company that launches the most innovations this year. Gone are the times when Siri or Google Now could surprise. Today the objectives are science fiction, and this year could come 4 great innovations from Google.

Google Glass

Google Glass

Of all of them, this is the one we have known for the longest time. The company has been launching Google Glass for a couple of years. Since they were first announced in 2012, expectations for these smart glasses have gone through different ups and downs. We have gone from great innovation, the next leap in the world of technology, to being a product that may never be launched. Finally, it seems that Google has a new design for Google Glass and that will reach the market. Will they be successful? At what price will they be sold? Could it be what users were really waiting for?

Project Ara

Project Ara

It is much more recent than Google Glass, but it has come by leaps and bounds. It appears that Motorola bought PhoneBloks, which was developing a modular smartphone. Then Google sold Motorola, and nobody remembers PhoneBloks anymore. However, Project Ara is known to many, although it is neither more nor less than the same. The company has come a long way with its modular smartphone. You already run Android, and it looks like the processor will be the Nvidia Tegra K1, at least one of them. In January there will be two events related to Project Ara in which it is possible to talk about launches and prices.

Google Car

Autonomous cars

Google presented the first fully autonomous car prototype. It does not need anyone to drive it, so we can go in the car without having to worry about the steering wheel. Of course, this still has a lot of time left, but road tests will begin next year 2015, and it could be decisive for the future of these cars.

Smart watches as substitutes for smartphones

Smart watches, and by Google, Android Wear, hit the market this year 2014. But currently they are nothing more than accessories for our smartphone. However, next year smart watches could take a step forward, and become true replacements for smartphones. Will we talk in 2015 about the users who choose a smartphone and those who choose a smartwatch?
